The New Britain Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Valentine’s Day early this year with a free Jazz Quintet mini-concert at Trinity-on-Main on Feb. 13. Jazz, the essential American sound of passion, is the perfect way to set the mood for this romantic holiday. Come join us and bring a loved one -spouse, sweetheart, relative- to an hour-long performance by Josh Bruno, trumpet, Michael Schiano, piano, Nat Reeves, Bass, David Edricks, percussion, and Shawntice Marshall, vocals.
The free concert will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Feb 13, 2018 at Trinity-On-Main, 69 Main Street, New Britain, CT. For more information, please call us at 860-826-6344 or online at the link below.
During the past 30 years, Nat Reeves has been one of the top bassists in jazz. His supportive and stimulating playing has uplifted a countless number of sessions and recording dates (most notably with the great altoists Jackie McLean and Kenny Garrett) and he has led his own CD State of Emergency. Both as a performer and an educator, he has made a strong impact on the jazz world.
