OPEN MIC moves TO THE BIG STAGE again!!!
On Saturday, September 29, 2018 6pm-9pm – ALL ARE INVITED to a FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT held at the historic Trinity-on-Main at 69 Main Street, New Britain CT. This marks the second year and with any hope not the last – that we are able to offer our community quality entertainment for absolutely FREE. Come and enjoy the very talents that have hosted open mic over last year. The show promises to be a delight. Some of the best in central Connecticut/Mass have shared their time to host open mic and now they are uniting. This Free concert is hosted by The City's First Poet Laureate, Michael “The Chief” Peterson /CT Slam Team) and Stevey Newnez – Hot 93.7 performances by FINEST: Jenee/Raffy-R&B,T-Quest-hip/hop, Darlene “peaches”-Poet, Karen “Kae” Price-R&B, Lefty-Hip/Hop, James T Moore-Comedian, Joanna -Hip/Hip, Quoron-Gospel, Tre Brown-Poet, and headlined by Tangsauce-he's performing his one-man musical with songs from his new album, “Seniority”. He released his short 1 man play “Seniority” August 11th at @hartbeat.ensemble Carriage House Theater.
